Britannia Renewal - Programming World Cafe

Mar 2, 2021 3:00 pm - Mar 2, 2021 5:00 pm
Location: Zoom
You are invited to participate in the upcoming virtual Britannia Programming World Café on Tuesday, March 2 from 3 – 5 pm.

In 2018, the City of Vancouver and project partners (Vancouver Park Board, Vancouver School Board, Vancouver Public Library and Britannia Community Services Society) adopted the Britannia Master Plan, which identified a vision for a renewed Britannia. The Master Plan was created with community and identifies the need for a number of new site uses, including the addition of non-profit hub space. Project partners are now starting the rezoning phase of the Britannia Renewal to determine how the site can be redeveloped to realize the Master Plan.

At this time, it is important for us to hear from local organizations and groups that provide social, cultural, and recreation programming on-site at Britannia or provide services to residents who are part of the Britannia community. Your input is important to the project.

Conversations at this virtual Programming World Cafe will help Project partners learn more about how we can ensure continuity of service through the renewal process and explore if anything has changed regarding programming space needs since our 2018 Master Plan engagement.

Event details:
The event will take place on Tuesday, March 2 from 3-5 pm, virtually on Zoom.

This event will be hosted by project partners and facilitated by Engagement Consultants from MODUS, a planning, design and engagement firm.
