POSTPONED: Free Tree Giveaway over Family Day Weekend!

Be a part of our Greening Our Neighbourhood event by getting a free tree sapling to plant!

 

Plant a tree and help make our neighbourhood green! Residents of Grandview-Woodlands can walk by Britannia Community Centre's Plaza outside Gym C on the Family Day long weekend and pick up a free coniferous sapling. Instructions for you and your family on planting and caring for your tree are included! Trees can be planted in private yards, in pots on patios, or in your Green Streets garden. Free until we run out of saplings, please wear your mask and respect physical distancing to keep us all safe.


Saturday Feb 13 & Sunday Feb 14
10:00am-4:00pm – or until trees are gone.
Plaza outside Britannia Ice Rink
